TIME FOR THE BEARS TO RISE!

Out of Hibernation is an annual event, usually held in March of each year, that is organized by the Northeast Ursamen in collaboration with the Crown and Anchor in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

This event brings together the bear community and LGBTQIA+ individuals for a weekend of social gatherings, parties, and community bonding, marking the end of winter and welcoming the warmer season.

The event typically features a mix of activities, including themed parties and casual meet-ups, allowing attendees to connect and enjoy Provincetown’s vibrant setting. Out of Hibernation is one of the highlights of the Northeast Ursamen’s event calendar, fostering community spirit and offering a welcoming space for bears and friends to socialize, celebrate, and kick off the spring season together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make OOH 2025 so amazing!
